Thanks for all the input.. Never been to big Lake but have heard about it. Any particular spots in the lake?

Go to the weirs. Dead shrimp or cut bait on the bottom. They've also been smoking the crabs as well

Shortest run will be from Hebert's. If I remember correctly, it took my about 20 minutes at 40 mph Wednesday morning.

Tuesday afternoon we were THE ONLY BOAT TRAILER at the public ramp. When we got back, there was another guy there, but he was one of the swamp tour people.

It was like owning your own lake!
