yes and it works on croakers, drum, and hardheads.

my cousin even sprayed just a plain empty hook and he caught a fish on it just to show me it worked.

I didn't mean to imply it was a bad smell, just that my uncle didn't want ANY smell on his hands because the fish can smell it.

and the stuff he used was called green magic (not green stuff), not sure where he got it but it was always kept onboard as part of his boats tool kit
