I had L3 and L4 fused by Dr. Louis Blanda in Lafayette and I have no regrets. I was 24 at the time of the surgery and I am now going on 33 and have no new problems. I couldn't walk before surgery because of numbness and weakness in my legs and toes. When you come out of surgery and you wake up you will think you were run over by a mack truck as the pain before my surgery was bad but after it was worse but got better by the day. The weather changes sometimes mess with me but other than that my back is great.

Yeah its hard to believe the number of people with back problems around La, and Tx . I n my hunting club there are 4 members out of 25 that have had numerous back surgeries. All I can say is listen to the doc and only due what you are suppose to due after the surgery are you will have regrets. Hell I killed a deer a month after surgery and loaded it on the four wheeler and skinned it all by myself but I wouldn't recommend doing that.
