 Now he got enough money to buy all that! He can spend 3K on one of them fancy anchors, get a wardrobe of Columbias (can even buy some patches to put on em), a couple of Curados (non-refurbished), and have some left over for a visor and some Costas:*****:

You have never seen me fish any kind of tournament or event with live bait...
And I only use mullet in August when I know I can go catch 5-7lb trout every trip..

Just what I expected...you open your mouth and then avoid the challenge like always... Again you are showed you have no clue what your talking about!!!! So why even post in the fishing section when the last time you caught a trout Ford was still president

Arties only...whatever you say.

ckinchen 06-04-2011 06:57 PM

Guys lets please not hijack the thread, save it for the gill net.

Some people like to fish bait, some do not. Ford v/s Chevy or whatever. Each side thinks they are right. At the end of the day the rules are the rules and it dosen't matter.

You see the big guy on the front? He was throwing the net, I can assure you, Neg.

Raymond 06-05-2011 08:49 AM

Wasn't planning to post until tomorrow but this thread needs to get back on track!
I appreciate the the kind words from everyone.
The shootout was a team effort, you can't pull off an event like this on your own. Green shirts at the point did a great job of making the chairman look good and I thank them for their effort! ! Please understand, this event was three months in the making and still did not come together until Friday . I do believe the online leader board was one my best ideas of all time and thank Casey for green lighting the idea. Next year salty cajun will be listed as the official web link for the shootout.
Last, thank you to all that participated! Your support makes it possible to hold events like the shootout and fishing seminar.

Best Regards,
Raymond

PaulMyers 06-05-2011 09:08 AM

A big Thank You to all the green shirts. From the outside it looks to have gone off without a hitch. GREAT JOB!

Job well done Raymond!! The online leader board was great!!!!

evis102 06-05-2011 09:28 AM

If the Shootout was artificial only it would have 10 entries like every other artificial only trout tournament on Big Lake. Low entry fee, live bait and high payout for first is the way to draw people. The Shootout has proven this year after year as no other trout tournament on Big Lake even comes close in number of entries.

I caught a bunch of em in West Cove, just none big enough. I did have some goobers run over the reef I was drifting several times. Sucks.

Anyone know how I can get in touch with someone from cca. The bank won't cash my check. They messed up on my name and scratched it out and rewrote it so they say it's altered. Need a new check.

cmdrost 06-06-2011 10:26 AM

Come see me at Whitney Bank. Kevin works here too. He was the one that cut the check. We'll ok the check.
