This is the biggest fact.........You could stop anywhere and act like your setting the hook and you will start pulling boats in......I know if I fish a weekend I have to just fish outside the box........I try to stay away from any crowds by getting somewhere before light and hoping to get a good bite until your spotted ...Then I just fish other small reefs that not many know about....Or I will go fish the outside of a reef that 50 boats are on...most likely they have all ready moved the fish out

Some of my best weekend trips were fishing outside the reefs while 50 boats potlick each other...I will move 500 yards away and smash them.....

There are entirely TOO MANY people fishing, boating, and enjoying their weekends on Big Lake. Something has to be done or else it is going to get bad and someone is gonna get hurt:eek: There needs to be a draw of some sort that limits the amount of people on the lake on the weekends, like 100 or so. That would help the fishing come back to the way it was in the (insert any year here when you heard there were 9 lb fish every cast) and then 'they' need to reduce the limit to 5 per person. Only 5 boats should be allowed for joyriding for any given day, the rest should be there for fishing only. And id you are caught fishing within 1/2 mile of anyone you lose your rights for a solid year. And if you are caught using live bait.....then firing squad:*****:

I was kidding man:) I have seen many of my places I am used to fishing get overran by people, but always seem to find a spot to myself at least for a little while. There are ways to beat it usually, some people only get to fish weekends and they are going come hell or high water, and I don't blame em.

Just go out and buy a boat that will stick out from the crowd and make a few weekend trips and wait till you get a crowd and the start actin the fool, after you make the headlines on here and people start talkin bout your boat you will be able to fish any spot you want cause they will all steer clear of yo crazy self
