Tried sha shas? Pujo st caffe? The old deangelos off south Ryan has a killer tenderloin along with sha shas I'd rate it better than mazen's
Luna's got good eats too

Billy's got pepper jack cheese stuffed boudin balls. My customers love those darn things

I tried Billy's last week. Was not impressed. I like best stop or Don's if I buy it. I prefer to make my own. Plan to make 50 pounds next weekend.

Famous BBQ on 171 boudin great but smoked cracklins are killer

yes it sucks... more rice than meat..and has that red grease in it...and the rice is kinda mushy...not impressed at all...prob good for a back yard boudin making but not to make a business around...

I have tried the new Billy's store in Scott...excellent boudin...and is #2 on my list of favorites.... #1 is Don's in Scott!!!

Best Smoked boudin @ Market Basket, Nelson rd. Best cracklins, B&O on Old Spanish Trail. Tried Best Stop, they #2 to me.

Billy's in Scott has my vote. Best Stop and Dons are taking a hit since Billy's opened up.

My vote goes to Sonnier's in Goosport.

Anyone else?

X2. Their smoked boudin is the best I've ever had.

I'm pretty sure all two or three places in Lake Charles were named already so I was just expressing my opinion along with everybody else

The Mowater Store had some good boudin. I didn't see anyone mention that spot. I haven't been there in a long time. I guess its still open. Anyone else been there.

But the best stop is my favorite. The smoked boudin is what I like.

CajunSteelsetter 12-10-2012 10:11 AM

Rabideauxs for regular, Gillis grocery for smoked, and Sausage link for balls.

Yea love mowatta's boudin...nice big chunks of green onions in it...definetly in my top five!

I like Sonnier's. Market Basket on nelson isn't near as good since he left.
