It's actually the same distance from Moss Bluff. Klondike might actually be even closer to where I live in Lafayette. Although Klondike was kinda a let down last year, I'm thinking it should be pretty good this year. We just picked up a lot more acreage there and plan on managing the land to hold birds since we will have so much

Dat sum fun right there! Use to help guide for a friend down south of Houma, had a tremendous setup. But I think I liked the rice fields best when I was growing up and crawling the ducks and geese by Bell City when there use to be "lots" of ducks. Got my share for sure!

Probably won't have water in our rice field blind for teal season or so I heard, my first blind in years and not sure how good it will be.
I have been living out of country for a while. But while i was out of country I made quite a few bird hunts. |
Could have shot a limit of squelers this am.

it's been a long time since i've been on a dove hunt, but i wouldn't leave no duck blind to go shoot them even if a field was full. |

There were plenty of ducks as well. But I only got to shoot a few teal in some farm ponds on my ex's families property in Brazil.
The one time I went down to Uruguay and duck season was open they only let me scout with them, had some big wigs from Benelli going down in a couple of days and they wanted the birds ready for tv, lol. The dove hunting was non-stop from daylight till dawn but I only enjoyed shooting them a few hours in the afternoon. Decoying pigeons was a blast but most fun was hunting perdiz in the morning with some awesome brittany spaniels. That and drinking and having bbq in the afternoons. |
Man those are some awesome pics
