Talk about a pissed off SOB!

I have had that happen too. Buddies always want to just throw the icechest in the boat when we load up and I make em put it in the bed of the truck or strap it down tight in the boat. They don't believe me, but what happens is you will hit a bump and the icechest will fall over and eventually all the contents will spill out. Then all it takes is the icechest to get turned into the wind and it will fly out.

If you fish by yourself you do not want one of those heavy ice chest. Will throw a back out trying to lift on of those chests by yourself. Also you better protect with your life or its gonna run from u. Whereas my old beaten up igloo, I can leave that thing sitting in my front yard all week and people avoid it like the plague.

LOL.

I had an Igloo that came with my boat. It flew out after 3 years. It is a good cooler for fish slime.

Funny as hell ^ right there :) But all so true. I have two yetis , one requires a forklift to load and I hardly ever use them because you can not leave them out .

All I will say is that I have a yeti and I hate it. It is ridiculously heavy, mars up my boat, and doesn't hold ice any longer when used as a "real ice chest" - i.e. going in and out of it to get drinks. The only plus in my book is that it is indestructible and you can stand on it to fish.

I have been wanting to try K2's because of the local connection and if I get a new one, that will be it.

I agree. Can't stand loading and unloading mine. I use the cheaper ones more often.

I've got the red Ragin Cajun K2. It deals with what I put it thru.
