When i was in high school ( back when we had stone tablets and chisels ) I watched an old man get struck by lightning while running his catfish lines in a aluminum bateau.
He was smoked . I don't do lightning at all. Not scared of it ,But give it much respect

Andy C 07-16-2014 05:15 PM

I don't do lighting!!! Missed weight in two year's cause of it!!!!

Bdub 07-16-2014 10:03 PM

dudes.....its gonna be plum nasty on B.L. Saturday!!!! Please use caution on the water. I know we joke a lot here, but there was a fatal boating accident last weekend on the Sabine River. Story I got was lightning strike knocked the captain unconcious causing him to ram into a dock wich ejected and drowned a 10 year old kid. Please take the weather seriously gents. I hate to get all serious on here, but nobody needs to get hurt over a few fish.

MarshRat89 07-17-2014 09:54 AM

Weather or not I'm loading up now and coming in hot. Gotta grab some extra provisions first incase we held up in the camp

Hey man, glad to hear you coming. I drove by not to far from your place yesterday and started to worry thinking that I had not seen you posting much in a while.

It's been busy as who-knows-what around here lately! I've also begun to (attempt) limit my time on any social media when I'm at home.

All is well and, stop by the next time you're in the neighborhood!

SGib 07-18-2014 08:56 AM

4wd going to be used to get my boat out the shop! Over 4inches today 15 miles down the road at a school.

eman 07-18-2014 09:03 AM

Pulling out in about 30 min.

"W" 07-18-2014 09:04 AM

Chance of rain on Big Lake "never"

Well guys. I've got over 5" of rain here in Abbeville.. I live on Verm. Rr. It's climbing and will be close to being out of its banks by later today.

I've been under the weather since last Sunday with a BADDD STOMACH VIRUS.. SO I won't be par taking in the Tourney...I've lost about 12 # in less than 5 days. Not an ideal way to loss weight.

Be careful out there.

Elbert Chamblee 07-20-2014 08:42 AM
