So if I put my GPS up for bid........What would the price start at?
|
Brand Name Invicta
Model Russian Diver I just found out about Invicta and they have some cool watches and are suppossed to be pretty good. Chek em out. This thing is huge, it is probably almost as big as w. We now return you to the thread already in progress. |
There's a thread started for Bender's watch. :smokin:
Now, back to biness. W is a student of the game. He has put in his time to learn the lake. A characteristic of a good fisherman is being able to adjust. When you're a student....it's much easier. |

Now, if you had some big girl locations that might be worth buying. |
Quote:
But does he? No so continue with your potlicking :smokin: |
2.99
|
I'll bid $200 for the GPS...you can keep the dink reefs.
|
I guess I will be one of the "Idiots" b/c I am fishing big lake in March. Why?? b/c I fish my local area 11 months out of the year and enjoy trying new areas. LaAngler, If you don't like, don't fish by me. But to call others "idiots" that want to fish a certain area pisses me off.
PS- if any of you guys ever want to fish LAke ponc, Delacroix, Empire let me know. Not only will I not call you an idiot I will give you solid reports to help you out the best I can. |
I guess potlicking it is. But during the tourney, I think I will potlick someone that catches decent size fish. Maybe Sunday, I'll potlick him to fill the chest with dinks.

And by the way, im sure it'll get mentioned in this thread before long.. The whole croaker soaker subject, i relized the other day thats getting old..Do what ya gotta do to catch fish, big deal if you threw a livey. Either way that trout is going to get catched and released into grease, so big Whoop. |

I wish they would quit wasting my favorite fish as bait. No wonder there are not as many of them for me to eat any more.

:*****::*****: Well heck i figured it was an appropriate time...we already went from magazines, to watches,to prices on gps, so now to croaker soakers |
I think sharing info is great, its all about having a good time on the water anyways. On another note I agree that most people on the water don't have a clue and are very rude. This is the main reason I prefer to fish for redfish,i can't stand to fish around a bunch of people almost casting into your boat. I don't mind sharing the water but when im on a school of trout and someone comes hauling azz with there outboard and starts fishing and wonders why there not catching and leave 5 mins later. Cypremort point area is REALLY bad in the fall when the trout are inside, sometimes it looks like you can jump boat to boat.
I totally agree with you. I think my biggest pet peave while fishing is when some jerk-off come trolling right where I'm fishing! At SW Pass this past summer we were getting a few bites on the reef and this guy picked up anchor and trolled between where we were casting and our boat! That was the 2nd time he did that, the 1st time was to another boat. I took off my hook (just in case) put on a weight and one of those big green corks and starting throwing it right where he was going. He got pretty pizzed and left.
topwater works better  |

I hope they keep posting spots of biglake on the internet. Seems everybody wants to fish saltwater now so that just puts less pressure on my bass holes. Its just gotten so bad on biglake the last few years I quite fishing saltwater, havent even fished on biglake in 7 months and I live on it.

;););););) Bingo we got a winner, and while yall all run down to BL i'll continue catching sac a lait and bass. |
History repeating itself???
we will all be selling our salt water boats going back to bass boats?? then twenty years later selling bass boats going to salt water again?? Interesting grasshopper |
And yes there is still plenty of secret holes on biglake, my boat has averaged and keep well over 5,000 trout a year for the last 5 years, even worst when we could keep 25
|
Breton Sound is 10X bigger than Big Lake. During the summer, you gotta bring your own well to fish. Same way in Pontchartrain with the bridge poles.

All this mess is why I fish weekdays. And on weekdays, you still have the one or two
clueless fishermen who will see you with a fish on and either circle you under power till you pull it out the water or come right on in under power and throw an anchor farther than any Olympic shot putter and start fishing right besides you. |
Uh Ohhhhh, I didn't know that was you Ray.... My Bad!
|
god bless the internet!!
