Prayers sent. I have a 2 year little girl and have had to rush her to the hospital with a spiked fever that wouldn't come down so i understand what you are going through with the worrying. Keep us posted.

When a child is sick it really touches a soft spot in your heart. I'm stopping now to pray again, believing it's going to be ok. This site is like family, keep us posted.

Well, my little buddy still can't come home yet, BUT, the good news is that the dr.s say it is just viral and they started him on a supped up antibiotic. His fever was down to 99 yesterday and climbed back up to 101 yesterday afternoon. All in all, once he licks the fever, he'll get to come home. I'm hoping today. Thanks for the prayers guys, it means alot a is very powerful. RD

So glad they have identified the cause of the fever . I know the little guy has been thru a lot. Continued prayers for a speedy recovery.

They still haven't identified it, that's the reason for the super antibiotics. All we know is that his blood work is clean and he has no other illnesses contributing to the fever. Like I said in the first post, when the wife told me his platelets were low, I did some research and did not like some of the causes of low platelet counts. Thanks again guys.

My daughter was diagnosed with crohn's disease her senior year oh high school. It was a long lenghty ordeal but she is doing better. If you need support or would like for her to talk to you or your family PM me. It's a scary thing sometimes and people helped us through it. My prayers are with you and Devil's family. Glad Devil's son is doing better.

Wooohoooo, little man comes home today. All of his blood work came out good. The dr determined it was some sort of viral infection in his sinus. He's gonna be on antibiotics and breathing treatments for a while. Yesterday when we told him he gets to go home, he said " yayyyy, they not gonna stick me anymore". They took blood from him 7 times. Thanks for the prayers and well wishes. It's really appreciated.

I'm glad you were able to get him home. I hope his condition continues to improve and you will be able to get him onthe water fishing with you soon. I brought my two year old out to the bay today for a little boat ride and it was great. We evens stoped to fish for a few minutes. a few times I thought we were going have to dive in after his Sponge Bob poll but he did good.

Keep us posted on his recovery.
