Will be there for the greet. Adam usually tents are fine on the Beach, just pitch between the water and the grass line. The skeeters will dehydrate you by morning if you get too close to the grass. It should be good seas for Saturday, bring your boat unless your going to deflate some cans early. Camping on the beach is permitted, Glass is not. No glass bottles are allowed on the beach....I wonder why? Long neckers, you'll have to accept the aluminum taste I guess.

The beach looks great. Sand looks great.
For the beach clean up Wed., the winds were SE and the water was a little muddy for
the first 50 yards or so, then you could see the brown/green line.
If the winds die or turn North, it should clean up good.
Camping is allowed on all Cameron Parish beaches. So is driving, unless you see signs.
There were both 2WD and 4WD trucks driving on the beach, picking up trash bags.

North winds should be blowing. And I would never take a 2WD truck out on the beach, at least not far from the entrance. I had to wench out a 2WD truck out there a few years ago. Sheriff Dept was hooked up to him and sunk their truck too. Being the nice guy I am, I pulled up and asked them if they needed help. They told me they had been trying to get him out for 3 hours, anything is worth a shot. I had a 15000 lb wench on my truck back then and yanked him right out. They told me if any of them pull me over, I would have a free pass! But if their is a bunch of ppl going, someone will be around to pull u out in a 4WD.

Im going to sit this one out. Wind forecast is too unpredictable with the storm brewing. I dont feel like driving 3 1/2 hours and the winds kickin, nothing else to do out there either besides fishing.
