Them's crappy hooks. Get ya some Gamakatsu #4 EWG barbless trebles. They don't rust nearly as bad but you gotta hose 'em off after use. If you think changin' hooks are bad......try puttin' on those Gamakatsus. Best to do it while sittin in the Emergency Room.

Another thing......take them friggin' nose rings off them baits......SISSY!

That's BS! Your hook/land ratio is no worse with barbless. You can't get the hooks I'm talkin' about from Academy. Take them nose rings off and you'll catch more fish.

Them jigheads ain't meat hooks, tho. Them trebles will hook 'em in the top of the head, the back, the tail....anything it touches. :)

Loop knot frees up the bait more plus the line somehow gets between the wire loops. Gotta cut it to get free.

Mr. G........There is NO way that ring off will make you catch more fish!!!! IF anything it helps.... Only way I would buy that is if I saw with own eyes...That would be like some one saying pull the tail off your sand eel...

Whatever!!!! My guess is that you've never seen anybody use a Bomber that actually fished it the right way.
