bout to send a picture of this wiring they got going on here to shawn. so your electrician self can figure dat out

Kenner18 09-28-2011 01:05 PM

Electrical trouble shooting is the worst . Check all grounds ,loose or broken . I have often found that to be the biggest problem . Maybe Shawn and I can get together with you and help you out one day .

huntin fool 09-28-2011 01:08 PM

Just sent pics to shawn.. Its definately something different.. .

jchief 09-28-2011 04:09 PM

Thats my thinking. Had a buddy tell me to do it..

For what it's worth, im coming out the gate and going to say, this bike WILL be going through hell. It's being used to get back to private timber lake, in which I have to cross a marsh/field. And ofcourse use it to get to other parts of this marsh.............

Kenner18 09-28-2011 08:54 PM

if its not done correctly it will let mud and water into the engine ,which will lead to the junk pile real quick.

Did a lil research on it, The airbox is the only thing that needs to be snorkeled, and all the tubes ofcourse, but like you said, if you don't seal it up good, it could end badly.Doubt I do it however. Not to worried about it

Micah 09-28-2011 09:06 PM

If it has a pull start, you may want to look into sealing that as well.

Also leads to having to rrjet the carb most of the time due to more air depending on how you install it

huntin fool 10-01-2011 12:48 PM

Anybody know where to get this "reverse knob" for a 250??

wtretrievers 10-01-2011 05:27 PM

This guy isn't far from my house, he has a graveyard of bikes. If you can't find anything close give him a call. If he can't ship it to you let me know & I'll get & send to you.
