Might be a false statement right there. When the question is asked," I wonder what this boat/motor top end speed is"? The math indicates your current combination should reach the previously stated speed. How a person gets to that mathematical descripted speed is up to the individual. Then again a person may ask the above question but never really intends to find the true top speed of the boat/motor combination. To each his own. |

I guess it is possible under perfect conditions but that would be with an empty boat running on fumes with a tailwind. I would be really surprised to see 68. After running it a bit I believe 65 is definitely reasonable and achievable with a very light load. |
