The neighborhood crackheads were walking down the street looking at my crazy *** standing on the porch with a shovel and shot gun. I nudged its tail and it tried to turn back under the house so I shot it in its mid section trying not to shoot my house. It cut it in half and the head kept on a trucking under my house. I couldn't shoot it again under the house. That little bastard bunkered in under the middle of my house. S then I tried to pepper spray it to make it come out but my spray was empty. I finally managed to get it out after soaking it with the water hose then I went babe Ruth on it with the shovel!
The end

:rotfl: I am crying at this story:rotfl:

Had one just like that in my yard last year, just about stepped on it the 2nd time I walked by it. Scared the **** outta me! Ended up at my parents 2 days later on their porch, dad got a hold to it with the shovel, made big snake into little snake. Ended up being a rat snake.

The only good snake is a snake on tv! but then u start to notice every little thing that rubs ur leg or at least I do!

It's a copperhead. we have tons of em . poisonous too, obviously.

It's a copperhead. if you want to be sure, take a scredriver and 'raise' it's fangs by sliding a screwdriver sideways in it's mouth, then slide the screwdriver forward. you'll see 2 fangs. If you only see teeth, it's probably just a rat snake, but I'm pretty sure it's a copperhead. we have ton's of em here.

We had them suckers everywhere in Oklahoma! I don't miss the volume of those snakes at all!

My wife was bit by a copper head. I personally saw the damage they can cause.

After doing a little more research, I see by the look of the banding it is NOT a copperhead. hard to tell from the pics. copperheads have hourglass looking bands across their back, where the wide part of the hour glass is oriented to the side of the snake. this one does not have that type banding.
