wood boat is a wood boat no matter how much glass you put around it, its still wood. it will rot eventually. does the lifetime warranty stay with the boat or does it end after the original owner sells? doesnt say anything about lifetime warranty on their website. seems like that would be a big selling point for a wood boat dont know why they wouldnt put it on their site??

Ok, here is a tidbit. All of those 23 Kenners are full of non glassed in wood. According to Max Ohmstede, that does fiberglass work for a living, claims it to be the best boat ever built. We still have one in our fleet that is a 97 model. And another boat by Bill Kenner, the Frontier, also has wood.

When i cut a chunk out of my boat...I took it to AAA ,,,Kenneth who is an Olmsted...and he said that hull on the Haynie was one of the best he ever seen......If not the best.....He was amazed on how deep that gash was and still had more fiberglass to go.....He was very impressed and told me....Son you have a damn fine boat right here....And I gave him Chris's number and said...Call this guy ...He would love to here this from a family who has been working on Boats over 50 years BTW..Brady....Salty is just a jealous old man....any thing I have or brand I use ...He is 100% against it......Just like LSU..... If I liked OU he would love LSU..... Just how he is... |
Holy $*@& Look what I started I didnt say Haynie was the best I can get everything on my boat I need and everything in it is rigged just like I want If you dont like the Haynie you dont have to get one I was simply trying to make the statement that I was getting one It is a pure fishing machine that runs in 8" of water I aint concerned about the speed but the ride is incredible and it drifts like a dream with no hull slap i should get it around May If you wanna see it , cool, If you dont then please dont throw your beer bottles at me while I am catching fish
