Great news Lucas - thanks for the updates

Well, after yesterday's successful surgery and Wyatt's overall outlook looking better I have decided to post a picture of the little guy. He is finally wearing cloths and his numbers are very stable. Everyone who has donated and all the prayers are more than greatly appreciated and I thought I would at least let you see who you are doing all this for. Thanks again for everything and I hope to share this story with my son one day. He has some tubes and needles hanging out of him but he is a little badass so I don't mind you seeing him this way.

Just to give you an idea of his size... that sock doll next to him is a crew sock filled with cotton. The syringe next to him is a normal sized syringe.

Those pictures really hit me. This is in gods hands and he will give him strength for a speedy recovery and in no time he'll be grown up and believe me it happens fast. Little wyatt and your family is still in our prayers.

i have a 2 1/2 little girl and last night when we said our prayers before she went to bed we said a prayer for wyatt for him to get better soon. I let my wife read ya'lls story and it brought tears to her eyes.

You and your daughter praying for us just about brought tears to mine.

any way me and my family can help with prayers through god to give him and you and your wife strength to get through this.

thanks so much everyone! this means more than I can express with my tiny typing fingers. This money will definitely help my wife in I.

That being said, I am going to ask for more prayers. Wyatt is having some trouble with his lungs right now. They have had to up his ventilator settings quite a bit in the last 24 hours. They are not sure what is causing this increase but he is struggling a bit. We have been having a good last couple of days so this comes as some what of a blow and I need the strength of the Cajun Community. Thanks in advance for your prayers and thoughts.

Prayers sent ...... Stay strong for little Wyatt!

We had a little scare this morning. The doctors decided to change Wyatt's ventilator to a different type that they thought would be more affective. In changing him out he decided to scare the crap out of us by shutting down for a few minutes. The doctors and nurses came in to the rescue and got him back on his feet in a few seconds. It took him a few hours to get adjusted to the new vent but he seems to be adjusting pretty good. I'll keep everyone updated as we get information. This is the first real downturn we have seen so it is a little crazy but we are hanging in there. Thanks again for everyone's thoughts and prayers.

Congrats Jude on the raffle win. Me, Jamie, and Wyatt are the real winners here! We appreciate all who contributed monetarily and in prayers and thoughts. I want to keep everyone updated on Wyatt's condition and make him the first and hopefully only preemie to grow up with updates online. I will start a new thread to keep everyone informed.
