How many boats are going? I was planning to fish the surf, the bridge and down Hwy 1. If anybody needs a ride from Lafayette I got room for 1 or 2. I'll pay my way if ya'll need to fill a spot on a boat. Good Times!!!!! :D

For any of y'all that are going to surf fish at the islands .
If you have any adversion to potlikers STAY HOME!!!
If you start catching around the rocks at grand isle YOU WILL Get crowded.
Throw live shrimp and get your limit and get out. The ones throwing plastics won't be catching so they will crowd you and still won't catch till you leave.
If you get out in the water before sun up ,throw a top water right against the rocks and hang on.

Ill be bank fishing as well. Them fish at the ship channel this AM got me fired up!

I'm bringing my boat so I am extending an open invitation for whoever wants to hop aboard. I have only surf fished there once so I don't know my way around by boat, so we'll have to potlick Dink. Ha Ha.

I'm ready to just get out of lafayette....fish will be a bonus.

Just ordered a new depth finder for the rig, so we oughtta be able to see them oyster reefs before we crash into them

If your looking for guidance i am the wrong guy hahaha, This will be my first trip to Grand Isle.

If y'all fishing out of GI, they have been murdering them at the artificial reef on the east side of 4 bayous pass. Big trout. Watch for the "sand bar" (eroded point) if you are coming in from the gulf side, it sticks out further than you think. :)

I got a surprise of my own,transmission went out....can't make the trip bout to drop some serious dough on a new f150.

Tell me about it...was looking forward to getting away been working 7 days a week for months now. Oh well that's life sometimes. Going redfishing and catch a buzz sunday.
