The assaults on a pair of Virginian-Pilot reporters in Norfolk, Va., two weeks ago at the hands of 30 black youths, reported for the first time Tuesday, are the latest in a series of attacks driven by a warped sense of racial vigilantism hiding behind calls of “Justice for Trayvon.” At least 15 whites have been beaten not just with fists, but with potentially deadly weapons including hammers and lengths of chain. Many of the victims have been hospitalized, some may never fully recover, and one lingers on the verge of death.
David Forster and Marjon Rostami are just the latest victims of brutal beatings tied to the Trayvon Martin shooting, and some Virginians are outraged that the newspaper did not report the attack for “politically correct reasons.” The attack was revealed not as news, but in an opinion piece. Trayvon Martin was a black teenager shot and killed by an off-duty neighborhood watch volunteer in February in a Sanford, Fla., gated community. It wasn’t until the Martin family’s attorney engaged a public relations firm and claims began circulating that charges weren’t brought because Martin was black and his killer was white that the case gained national attention. Race-baiting community activists, misleading news reports, and grandstanding politicians ignited deep-seated racial animosities which have now inspired violence. The fact that the shooter, George Zimmerman, self-identifies as Hispanic and is 1/8th black seems utterly irrelevant. He’s merely the excuse for a long list of violent crimes perpetrated against whites in recent weeks by a criminal under-class suddenly roused to violence. Aaron Parsons is being held on $1 million bail in Baltimore for the videotaped assault and robbery of a tourist on Saint Patrick’s Day. The man who videotaped the beating and posted it online claimed “me an[sic] my boys helped get justice fore[sic] trayvon.” Three co-conspirators to the beating and robbery are still wanted by police. http://pjmedia.com/blog/justice-for-...-thugs-so-far/ |

So what have I missed so far? I've been at the freaking DMV (I hate that damn place)! I see they are at ANOTHER side-bar. Whose the Asian on the stand?
|
Today the FBI expert said the voice on calls are unreliable...
|
|
Why would the prosecution ask her to tell that story?.... She just flat out said he was saving his own life!
I'm not understanding why he keeps going back to Zimmerman using the word suspect....... If I see someone suspicious and I were to reference tem in a sentence, I would use suspect. That doesn't make him a wannabe cop. Is he supposed to talk ebonics like our favorite hood rat Diamond Eugene? |

Basically the detective was wearing a cross in the interrogation room and GZ asked if she was Catholic. She said no and asked why it mattered. GZ said that in the Catholic religion killing somebody is always bad. She tells him that's not what God had in mind because he was trying to save his own life. So basically the prosecutor walked her into saying her speculative opinion on the situation; Zimmerman defended his life. Of cousre the defense isn't going to object because she just helped GZ's case. Eventhough it is speculation on her part, and I'm sure the jury can distinguish such, it still weighs heavily to hear a commisioned officer say that she thought he was protecting his life. Stay tuned...... A "blockbuster witness" is being sworn in. |

I don't believe there is any way at all he can be found guilty.

I hope this freaking judge catches a venereal disease. She is a liberal biased POS. The defense’s cross yesterday will be stuff of legend in the legal community, and this c_nt has them throw out the detectives statement the HE BELIEVES GZ was telling the truth about the events. This is not speculation, because you cannot speculate on your own opinion. It is the detectives job in investigating crimes to distinguish who is telling the truth, and his opinion is extremely relevant in this instance.
Regardless, there is no way the state has even begun to show without a reasonable doubt that GZ accounts of the evening are wrong. |

This is the same judge that ruled that TM's past (fights, grades, etc) would not be admissible in court... I just don't get it... |

They way the Defense has eaten up the prosecution the judge is trying to level it back out
. She us 100% on prosecutions side. Every time the defense eats up a "Star witness" she throws facts out of the court room How can you tell a jury that a law enforcement agent has no right to say GZ did do the right thing as self defense?? But i guess the Judge knows more about self defense scenarios than a police officer |
The judge is more worried about her image and reputation than if GZ is innocent or guilty. Judges don't like landmark cases on their resume.
|
What I dont understand is, the judge throws out the detective remarks about GZ and self defense. They are gone from the court room.
But the jury still heard the guy say that, so wouldnt they still use that info in making their decision? I know I would. |

SANFORD, Fla. (AP) — A Florida judge ruled Wednesday that Trayvon Martin's cellphone text messages about fighting and a defense animation depicting the struggle between Martin and George Zimmerman won't be introduced as evidence at Zimmerman's trial. Defense attorneys had wanted to use those pieces of evidence as they conclude their presentation.

No way in Hell
|
And I'm right........ Judge seems pissed that he isn't. Makes me happy, happy, happy
|
HE'S NOT.... interesting
|
And the defense rest!
|
Now, it's on to 30 days of closing arguments before we go to 15 days of jury deliberation. Once the verdict is returned, will the riots be a result of justice for TM or because a creepy azz cracker was allowed to walk free for killing a sweet and, innocent "12" year old that we see all the time in the news?! Either way, something will be burnt to the ground.
BTW, I can't believe how blatantly biased this judge has been in this trial! |

you say that like they are 2 different things! |
The judge is a *****.
|
Problem is those 6 women jurors are not gonna want to be held responsible for all the rioting so they will charge him with the lesser charge of manslaughter not knowing what the penalties are. In Florida manslaughter is life in prison. What's sad is our country is afraid to let a free man walk because a certain group of people are threatening to riot. Thing is they are going to riot whether he's guilty or not. Soooo. Lot em riot. They're just gonna tear their own **** up anyways and kill each other.
