My wife and I discussed that very same thing years ago. Once trust is lost...so is the marriage. Rarely does trust ever return to it's original state.

They've gotten pretty good at collecting. Stuff like garnishing your wages (find you by your ssn) and not letting you buy a fishing license or renew your driver's license until you are paid up. Not sure if LA is playing all these cards, but other states are and it will get here soon enough.

I guess it comes down to a personal choice for the person cheated on and then a choice as a couple as to what happens. I've walk that road as the cheater. We chose to get past it and we did. Not saying it was a cake walk but it can be done. Everyone makes bad decisions. Some are just worse than others. I crushed my best friend and I have to live with that forever. No amaunt of forgiveness from her will ever make me feel better. Am I a bad person? I guess it depends who you ask. I have four judges of my life. Im doing good with the first three. I haven't met the fourth one yet. I hope its a long time before I do.
