i haven't shot one since opening day to many ducks to shoot now. Me and Micahs duck ratio has went way up since then.

I might get to hunt Tuesday...we shall see. Weathers not looking good for that morning though.

hell yeah! My brother-n-laws are hunting this morning in gc gonna call him later and see how they did. He told me yesterday that there was thousands of birds in the big burns yesterday, and thousands of geese in the sweetlake area.

Cousins huntin our Creole blind and said he's seeing mallards, teal and greys. First thing he text me this morning, he said....teal are back!!!

man i hope so! Like i said in that other thread might call me crazy, but i love them little teal they eat better to.

Just got text of the same thing, said the Burns is slap full of birds!!!

Talked to my father-n-law and he said he got a text from my brother-n-law that the pasture begind us and the marsh is full of ducks. I'm not sure how many they have, but he told him that he done shot a box of shells. Man i can't wait for tomorrow morning not gonna sleep at all tonight.

This is killing me!!!! Early in the week the weather channel showed terrible weather, so I wasn't too upset about missing and then the front comes through. Now reports of easy and early limits:banghead:

brother-n-law and his group killed 14, but it took over 7 boxes of shells to get them. He said that we have thousands of birds in our marsh. He said that they had 9 mallards cupped up coming in, but my wifes uncle shot as soon as they got over the levee in front of us. He said you could see the greenheads in the bunch. Here's what they ended up killing.

9 grey ducks

1 widgeon

1 mallard hen

1 black mallrd

2 teal

Said that the grey ducks were still flying when they left and seen a bunch of mallards and pintails this morning. Hopefully i kill some green in the morning.

7 boxes to get 14 birds?

you read right he said that they couldn't hit them suckers if they landed on the end of the barrel. He also told me he was out the blind taking a leak with no gun 8 grey ducks came in and landed 10 yards from the blind. He said hey, hey and someone from the blind said what! All 8 grey ducks got up no one shot they said they never saw them.

I need a hunt some kind of bad! Father in Law is headed to Hunt County Texas to go shoot an Eland and some Axis.

i'm looking at possibly next monday unless something happens and i have to work. Will let you know later in the week.

yeah i would love to go sunday christmas morning to kill some more grey ducks, but no way my wife would let me live that down. Going to father-n-laws to spend christmas day out there in gc so i might have to make an afternoon hunt. Another limit of greys would really be santa clause coming to town.

And this thread was week yesterday, cause i wan't on here i will not let this thread die.

i may not be hunting friday but i will be on the water. thats guaranteed. I am taking this vacation and rollin with it. trouts and ducks look out!
