If I were firing a warning shot I wouldn't have aimed at the cab. Can't say what I'd have done cause just last week I was running around the yard in my Hanes and cowboy boots cause I saw a shadow in the yard. Had a Judge in my hand, didn't see anyone but I've had trouble with theft before. Don't know if I could kill em for breaking into my truck but I could definately make them pick another house next time. Catch em, take all their valuables, clothes, and shoes then send them on their way.

I love the whole "just trying to get a beer" story...... very convenient when you are caught on someone else's property, that brings to mind something I have heard about most homes broken into are done by someone who knows the owner and knows what they are looking for..... not passing judgment but could by some crazy chance these boys really have been the ones commuting these other crimes but this time they got caught?..... makes a person wonder

Yeah, I think so. Read about 15 different things on it today so, I could be wrong. I'd figure some info is being withheld until every stone is turned. I hope that is the case, anyway. Again, I won't speculate.

Correct. If your life or, the life of a fellow human being is not in imminent danger, you should not use deadly force, according to my instructor as well. Invasion of your home is considered imminent danger. Breaking into a truck is not, even though its illegal and, immoral.

Its covered u nder the extention of your home stuff. There was a case in New Orleans havingto do with it

It's only an imminent threat if you or someone your defending are in the vehicle, same goes for your home.

i hate a "theft" as much as the next guy. and i have thought the same as you as well ...but as i get older i realize all material things can be replaced and i dont need to puff my chest out and wave a gun around to be a man, to me being a man is knowing when its best to walk away so you can be there for your family! what good is the " ill show that mf'r "gonna do your wife or daughter when you are locked up and they cannot pay the bills!

Have you checked with your insurance company to see if they will cover 5.56 holes in your truck? If not, I am sure they will cover theft.
