All joking aside it's a below average rod, including blank and components. I know all you West siders tried real hard to like the rod, but the company couldn't even service all the warranty claims in only 3 or 4 parishes.

OMG!!! Im telling you facts. Anthony and i have been best friends since 6th grade, Im his daughters godfather for god sakes!!! Matt Doucet and i literally grew up together, our dads are best friends. I don't care what these other guys are saying, Anthony and Matt still own the company and now there is a third guy involved.

Too me it's simple

If you don't like the product don't buy it, if you like it buy it

What's the big deal?? Why bash a business who is a sponsor and has given way lots of rods at our own Saltycajun events

I have only had one very small issue with one of my Duce Rods.... Got it swapped out no questions asked same day.... Great service for me... Its a great rod IMO... ive used a lot of rods and for the price point I have not felt a better rod! im sure if I spent double the price of course theres a better rod. That logic goes with anything.

BuckingFastard 04-08-2014 06:38 AM

i dont care if satan himself owned it lol.... i liked the feel of the rod, even if it was a bad blank... before i threw it, i tested its durability vs my hand. i took a 14" section of the tip and turned it 180 deg which is plenty durable for me lol. then i tried more and it popped my finger so hard it bled. lesson learned hah. all they needed imo was to keep making rods. you can never please everyone and im sure they had problems with controlling how business was handled, especially since they exploded. just some coon a**ES making a product and didnt know anything else.

BuckingFastard 04-08-2014 06:42 AM

walmart has great warranty on any rod, break it and bring it back... they dont care.... doesnt mean i want to buy all my equipment from walmart.

rustyb 04-08-2014 06:43 AM

Still wished mine would have floated. LOL
Think they warranty that?

BuckingFastard 04-08-2014 06:45 AM

maybe i should pull mine out the trash can...

When the Duce group showed up 2 years ago at the Gonzales sportsmans show they had a booth and I talked to the Duce group. Being I have had many custom rods made I noticed the color the feel of the rod and I knew it was a batson blank ,and I asked the Duce group was this a batson blank and he said Yes. That's how I know I asked them. W I hope that Enlightens you.
