Getting back on topic, I know several guides on big lake that have a power pole and live it. Buy one, I have never heard a power pole owner that wishes he would not have bought the product. I have a talon, it has been junk. The two power poles I had were great.

If you want to take water over the deck........Drop it in 35mph winds

That anchor is the best one I have seen offshore. I have held my boat in 40 feet with that one anchor when others will not catch.

Think there is a time and place for both anchors. Sometimes both at the same time

That is the anchor I use,holds good.....for shallow mud bottom I just bought a stick it aka poor mans power pole.

I got mine from one of the site sponsors, Jerry's marine in sulphur. They keep it in stock.

DUDE YOU TOO.....you must be potlicking...you gettn a figure 8....Thats where I catch all my fish...even sheepshead.....You can use a pole on the north side of the entrance....;)
