If you make it a safe light launch tournament there will be people already at the weirs well before anyone could make it down there. I say if people want to run down there and fight the crowds let them. There are fat reds all over that time of year.

Minus well just go to the grocery store if you are going to fish the weirs.

That being said, personally I am not immune from stopping in there from time to time.

I'm not going near the weirs. I hate that place. Especialy when LCD throws your anchor half way across the cut. Lol. DO NOT LET LCD ANCHOR THE BOAT. It's a bad idea. Just saying.
