I thought about selling after the first commissioner released his vote of no yesterday. Because i new the market would react negatively and the price fall a bit and I could buy back in. But damn, when i saw it below .70 this morning I was kicking myself. I coulda bought back triple the shares I had.

It's all coming to a head now. I been keeping up with the headlines. Things are busy at the FCC on this matter. Negotiations are taking place and everyone is saying by end of month. I'm ready! Want to move this money to some oil stocks and hold long.

I had an itchy finger all day after it dropped. But didn't do it. Go too much already. Lets just say I am NOT diversified in my portfolio. LOL

So what's the latest with the FCC verdict??

Guess nobody wants to talk about it...

All I heard was they are re writing some things in the proposal to appease the GSAT opponents. Only one commissioner voted so far. Still in wait mode.

Search groups on Facebook for "Globalstar Investors - GSAT" and join it. It will keep you up to date on what's going on. Very knowledgable people posting there.

The price of GSAT is holding steady at little above $ 1 for the past month. At $1.22 now.

I been buying it up. Ready for it to make a run.

May be making another purchase on it if it will go back below 1.2 for a sec

Good luck to you guys who are still in it and planning on buying more. I'm staying out but I truly hope you guys make good money with it. I hung on to my Stone energy stock and am actually doing pretty good on it right now even with the reverse split they just did.

I'm so mad about stone. I been waiting in GSAT or should I say waiting on the FCC to finalize this so this stock would pop. Stone energy been on my watch list for a year.

Yeah, they've had a couple of good weeks in a row and got up in the $16 range a few times last week.

With how it was running this afternoon - I took a shot for a quick pop but may hold on - not sure how high I truly think it can go..

It hit $17.90 pretty quick!

I just don't get SGY. It makes no sense that this stock is where it is. They did a R/S then canceled there contract with Ensco 8503. They have some good things going on in the Appalachian field and that's it. Don't think it's worth 17 bucks. Am I missing something??

But it's $17 post split. It's like it's at a $1.70 if the split never occurred. It would have to get to over $400 now, to get to where it was 2 years ago.

How are y'all way up on SGY if they did a reverse split?

If you had 1,000 shares at $3.00/share you now have 100 shares at $30.00/share and not 1,000 shares at $30.00/share

Has the actual value of your pitfalls changed?

Because the shares cost more... Come on man

Because the price after the split was around 5 per share. If you bought at that time then you quadrupled your money.

I saw that post on Facebook. It's a dumb statement because someone had to step up and buy at those prices in order for his limit sell order to execute. So that means the price was going up regardless of his limit order.

Up 30% since Tuesday. A lot of objectors to their plan have submitted letters this week to the FCC saying they are ok with it now.

News after market close! The revised proposal has be put on "circulation" at the FCC. Meaning, they will now vote on it. 99% of the time, and item put on circulation already has the votes needed to pass. The Chairman usually wouldn't present it to the commissioners other wise.


Expect a pop on Monday.

The shares extended their gain, reaching $1.23, after closing at $1.05, up 12 percent, in regular trading in New York. The U.S. Federal Communications Commission is circulating the proposal, according to the agency’s website, in a sign that a decision could be coming soon.
Globalstar is likely to get approval for use of Terrestrial Low Power Service spectrum licenses for commercial mobile broadband before FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler leaves his position, Maglan Capital Chief Investment Officer Steven Azarbad told Bloomberg News in an interview. Maglan Capital is one of Globalstar’s top 15 holders, he said.
The satellite phone service company has addressed concerns raised by companies like Sprint Corp. and Microsoft Corp., Azarbad said.
Shares of Covington, Louisiana-based Globalstar, which provides mobile voice and data communications via satellite, are down 27 percent this year through Friday’s close.
