Then, when it's crunch time in late September into October he will dial it in and bring it all home while shattering Hillary with an exposure that's he's keeping up his sleeve.

He's not "my guy", but he does have some clever folks at his side and he isn't a complete idiot. He is a schemer. I have a hard time believing he's truly as ignorant as he is coming off. Just watch his interviews from 15 years ago and even more recent than that.

If what I've laid out above isn't the case, then this whole thing was a ploy to sabotage the Republican Party and force the election in Hillary's/democrat's favor. This isn't that far fetched either... Based on his political leanings of the past I wouldn't be surprised for a second.

Either way, I think he is scheming and am praying it's not the latter theory.

I've been saying that for months. Early on his campaign seemed like a classic con job to me.

I think he simply wanted to help his friend Hillary get elected and the opportunity to destroy the Republican Party at the same time was too good to pass up.

Listened to an interview yesterday Trump did with Mike Huckabee. Very good interview. He was calm, articulated and made his point. Why can't he be like that all the time?

I think too much of the Apprentice crap during rallies, etc.

Good points. I don't think he's scheming as much as most people in politics do. I do think he's looking to make money im hoping he wants to make that money through his companies having a strong economy behind them. Honestly though I don't believe the powers that be will allow anything other than a Hillary win. I hope I'm wrong.

Republican elite who are never Trumpers....

who went back on their word to support whoever won the nomination are the ones who get my goat the most. People like Kasich, Jeb Bush, etc. are such whiny losers! They along with the rest of the Republican elite are the reason for the rise of Trump. I'm sick of the Democrats lack of morals, but I'm equally sick of the country club Republicans that only care about their position in the party and haven't done squat to stop Osama's far leftest agenda these last 8 years. Here's to Trump crushing the Republican establishment and returning American from being pansies to greatness. BTW, also sick and tired of hearing about these good for nothing NFL players sitting or kneeling during the national anthem. The owners should keep them in the locker rooms until after the anthem is played if they don't have any more respect than that. I haven't watched a minute of NFL so far this year and probably won't with the Saints headed in a downward spiral.

Anyone watching the debate? It's painful. Trump is having trouble staying on topic. They should have pumped him with adderall before he went on. Fortunately, Clinton is off her game as well. Let's see how the media spins this one.

I am not anti-Trump, I think Trump has come a long way during this process, and I think he is 10,000X better than Hillary (which doesnt say much) but still has a long way to go. Anyone can get up and say they will do this, do that, but we have yet to hear HOW this will get done. I look forward to hearing some solutions and not just how bad Hillary is. Anybody that is silly enough to vote for Hillary is going to vote for her no matter what, and no amount of Hillary bashing is going to change that.

What I fear is that during the debates, Trump does nothing but bash Hillary and gets into name calling and does not have any solutions to the problems he is addressing and ends up looking like a fool. I hope I am wrong

It's happening. Hillary doesn't have to say one word. Trump is acting an idiot. Hope he does better next debate.

There were several moments he should have let it rip and he remained quiet

BassYakR 09-27-2016 11:43 AM

Then he would be looked at by everyone else as bashing her and not staying on topic. Gotta choose ur battles this early

He was already off topic and bashing half the time, but the times he should have gone off topic he sat there quiet

He took the bait and got into some silly rants while Hillary sat back and smirked.

Next debate Trump will cut loose on her azz. he tried to play nice and he was bashed for it. There is so much he can cut her up with.

duckman1911 09-27-2016 06:40 PM

Debates really don't matter. She's going to win. That has already been decided.

I don't know about that. There were 100 million folks watching last night. I don't think Hillary is as popular as originally thought
