Today sucked ace.... didn't even fire a shot. Lots and Lots of fog on the river.. Running to build a blind way up north on the river.. They've been smokin em up there.. Limits of mallards and teal before 730 since last saturday

Dat sucks,can't bust em everyday.....guess you got your prop on with no problems?

Well, long story behind that one, one buddy was supposed to bring his merc 40 to my house and we take that, well he didn't show up.. So me and 3 buds took mine, the prop is still runnable, its not messed up bad, but when I don't have a load in the boat, you can tell the difference. But since I had so much weight, it sat low in the water.

About to go change that and build a blind.. Sling some specks tomorrow a.m.

Rain coming on Tuesday so I will probably hunt..

Yeah I will be back on em Wednesday too. We have seven or eight dozen decoys out our blind is in the middle of the field not on a levee so we are surrounded by water

The spot I'm hunting Wednesday is a blind in the middle of the pond, so we will be surrounded by decoys as well. I'm hoping the large spread helps.

Gonna get back after them thursday morning for a quick hunt. Weather shows it to be 48 thursday morning should have some new birds to shoot at.

2nd time to scratch on the river this season was this morning. Seen maybe 20 birds. Wouldn't commit to the pond.
