About 13 years ago I had a trip where we absolutely crushed the big trout on top. We caught all of them on Super Spooks. It kind of got me hooked. All I threw was my favorite trout bait for years hence the name.

Uncle gave me the nickname when I was about 3 years old. My first name is Alan. He's the only one that ever called me that and he called me that every time we were together. He was my favorite uncle and he's dead now so it reminds me of him.
