He never smoked me in a trout event....either...He won the SC event
but all the other ones we fished I was ahead of him but in one other one..and that was the SFA..he was two spots ahead
Cabelas we were ahead

and Redfish event we were ahead...

So I don't think he has any advantage over me one bit,,, but he is a good fisherman and puts in his time...

I'm trying to make the most people happy. There are a few who want different things. This is not a professional tournament.
Anyone can fish. It's gonna be fun, cold and Ray ain't fishing West Cove in Feb.

Ray 12-24-2011 03:31 PM

So far we have a few kids prizes.
1 free fishing trip for 2 from Black Max Charters.
2 free fishing rods from Duece Rods(Spiral rods).

These are kids prizes.
Cash prizes for the adults.

Ray 12-26-2011 10:41 AM

Just got some interesting info. from a friend.
First, Second and 5th weirs are private property.
That would take them out of the picture. No fishing on private property.
You can fish outside of the land, but not in the channel between the lake and the weirs.
I knew they were on private property, just didn't think about that being in the rules.
Everyone is going to have to be careful.

Barnaldo 12-26-2011 11:21 AM

I'm in, let us know on the progress!

Will keep updates on here when things change.
Don't want to make a lot of rules.
Bring in whole fish, caught on rod and reel, have the most fun you can in 40 deg. weather.

Ray 12-31-2011 12:47 PM

Weight and measuring devices have been secured.
Shaw is making up a flyer. Should be out soon.
Working on a few more goodies for the kids.
The more goodies, the more kids. I hope.

SaltyShaw 12-31-2011 12:58 PM

Here is the Flyer . . . . . nothing special just something to set everything in stone on!
