I'm considering putting up a Ruger SR22 for auction on behalf of my collision center this year. It is factory new and, has the threaded adapter for a suppressor.

Gauging interest. If someone were to have the winning bid, they'd have to do paperwork through my firearms group, A&R Firearms LLC or, I could ship it to an FFL in their area (shipping to be paid by winning bidder). Shipping would be about $20 via UPS.

If it's an online auction like in the past I'd be game. Always like the little .22 semi auto pistols.

That will be at the discretion of admin. I think they are trying to stay away from that this year but, I could well be wrong.

mr crab 07-13-2015 10:53 AM

Very generous of you southern.

Of course, I won't be able to make the tournament this year due to having a new born any day now.

Do i need to shake the trees around here for raffle tickets prizes again or we not haven one this year??

I entered3 at 50 plus trash pot, see it's only 30 now, got to enter two more in the morning. Just didn't know what to pay.

Always glad to help but don't know what Yall need help with, cause my phone or pm has not ring.

ckinchen 07-13-2015 11:04 PM

Yes online auction that seems to be the best route for the charity. We need more prizes. We need a PA system and some tables and chairs, a weight master and scales. We need someone to set everything up and help getting it all taken down and returned.

fonikoddity 07-14-2015 12:08 AM

Offer still stands on the P.A. system. I could probably even line up some entertainment.

I just need to know what time it needs to be up and running and where exactly it needs to be set up. Biggest concern for me is getting power.

There is a pavilion at Calcasieu Pount next to the boat launch. They have power but you will have to go inside the store to get the key to unlock the cover plates on the electrical outlets.

People normally start weighing fish around 9:30/10:00am.

Cripley 07-14-2015 10:05 AM

Guys it looks like FCJ boats will be coming in with a donation and a few boats for everyone to look at and test drive. These guys have some really amazing boats that i have been impressed with so far. see yall at the tournament.

mr crab 07-14-2015 03:03 PM

I will bring the scale. I would like to speak with the weigh master before hand though. When a weigh master is named, please ask him to call me. 4092239424

mr crab 07-14-2015 03:06 PM

I may need to meet with somebody. On july 25 in hackberry to give them the scale, so it will be at cal pt. Early enough on aug the 1th.

Having gallbladder surgery tomorrow, but should be able to meet you this Saturday if necessary. I live in the Cajun Fast Mart area.

Yep. Sad.

Where are all the people that were p I s s ed when I was going to cancel due to low turnout?

Tourney is still on, if we want to do one next year or ever again, 20 something isn't going to cut it.

mr crab 07-22-2015 06:09 PM

I feel ya.

mr crab 07-22-2015 06:10 PM

Where's the s.c. crew?

Me too? That's why i had to ask.

mr crab 07-22-2015 06:58 PM

Hard to believe with all the success and good times at previous s.c. tourneys, that only 22 people are interested

AubreyLaHaye458 07-22-2015 07:00 PM

I just tagged a bunch of people on Facebook and put it on Instagram. A couple good responses so far.

Looks like our work computer system will be down that weekend for maintenance and my sons been begging to go fishing. May work out to where my dad, brother, my 5 year old and my self will be fishing it if possible. Don't expect to place but helps a good cause no doubt. Plan on paying for a spot whether I fish or not to help with the children's charity.

Andy C 07-23-2015 06:46 AM

Only 22 heck me and Mr.crab are 10 of them!!

Come on people I know for a fact there's going to be over 1100$ in raffle items not to mention how much fun it is

Is there a way through salty cajun administration to send this thread or a tourney flyer as an email to every single s.c. username?

mr crab 07-23-2015 06:49 AM

Any thoughts on this paul meyers, jcheif, casey?

I would thank so, cause I get birthday an emails about pm's

southern151 07-23-2015 08:36 AM

Something is wrong with my Paypal and, it wouldn't let me pay up. I doubt that I'll be fishing it this year but, I'll likely drive over day of to show off the Ruger SR22 that we'll be auctioning.

mcjaredsandwich 07-23-2015 08:59 AM

August 1st is move in day for me and my wife. Headed back to the chuck! Best of luck to everyone fishing.

Big Lake doesn't like me. In 3 trips, I've caught two fish(both were on your boat). We'll still be doing our part with donations but, not fishing saves me about $500-700 when I don't have to bring the whole family, rent a camp, BUY FUEL<<<HAHA! and, entertain the family over there for a whole weekend.

mr crab 07-23-2015 10:08 AM

dugas 07-23-2015 10:54 AM

I guess I'll drive in from Houston to add to the count since there seems to be a sincere push to salvage this tournament (especially from mr crab - that boy is as determined as a......wait for it....crab). Only way I'm going to the weigh-in is if I have three BIG *** trout.

mr crab 07-23-2015 10:55 AM

That's the spirit.

marty f 07-23-2015 11:15 AM

paid up, I dont really know how to catch Specs ........ Im a Reds guy, I probably wont even weigh in unless my son catches some freak monster spec, but Id like to see this go through.
