I think you have just figured out the perfect foreign and domestic policy. I would vote for a candidate running on that platform. |

So 90% of america doesn't want to do anything before seeing the outcome of the UN investigation.
70% of america is not in favor of strikes even if the investigation indicates the attack's originated with assad's regime. The entire rest of the world other than France and Saudi, want the US to wait until the UN delivers its report. Yet Dem's and Pub's are lining up by the droves to agree that we must take some action before the UN investigation is complete. Either money is pushing real hard to get regime change going so that they can have a chance to snap up syrian oil. Or there is some serious black bag **** going on here. Outrageous. The tail is no longer wagging the Dog... it's slapping that silly sucker around left and right. |

Not to say Syria isn't a player in the oil industry, but I don't think oil has anything to do with this. I think it has more to do with using the humanitarian excuse to assist our allies in that region. However, I think any attack by the US will tip the crazy little camel jockey in Iran to act against Isreal, which in turn we will strike Iran. All that will do is bring Russia and China into the game. That is a fight we do not want, nor can we afford. This whole debacle is like walking on egg shells and a very likely scenario is another World War. I am usually a war hawk, but this is just a lose-lose situation for the US. But of course old Barry set Congress up for the fall no matter what happens. The man will not take responsibility for a damn thing. :pissed: |
Even Putin himself has now said that if the UN Investigation determines that the regime committed these atrocities, then he is in favor of reprisals.
So why in the hell can't we wait 1 1/2 weeks.... something is smelling real rotten in denmark. It doesn't matter if Barry check's this coat in congress... he's the one who set the red line in the sand. |

Agreed. We don't have the same amount of tough, quality folks that the WWII generation had. |
The problem with us going to war anywhere anymore is that we dont go to war. We pu??yfoot around like we dont want to hurt anyone's feelings. I dont believe we should be trying to police the world and get ourselves involved in every temper tantrum some foriegn azzhole has. I do however believe that if we have a legitiment reason to fight that we fight with the understanding that we will kill every living thing in our way. Our military is made up of some bad azz pitbulls. If they gota fight take off the chain and let the big dogs hunt.
