Man, if you look at the radar you can see why it's so bad in St. John Parish. The SE winds are shovin' water into the parish. Hopefully, the direction will change as the center continues to the west.

It's between the river n the lake, levee to the riverside but no levee on the lake .

Just looked at my rain gauge....a lil over 3.75". Poplarville, MS (20 mi to the east) and Columbia (30 mi to the north) have both gotten over 16" since 4:00 this morning. We have managed to stay in that void between them and the northshore of the lake. And, I am thankful for that.
