Look man, its weight masters choice I'm just saying how I think it will work considering I ran this tournamentast year and am on committee again.

And I don't know about the 30 second rule I don't let my fish get to that point

"W" 07-28-2011 03:19 AM

If the fish is placed in our tank and is mobile its alive..which means it swims... If it rolls belly up and we can't revive it...its dead

Your not a Professional and our weight master makes the call!

Please PM me or call me regarding your statement, 337-288-5685. Your facts are incorrect but this is not the place for me to explain the TRUTH.

CPR will get you more entrants to this tournament, good on whoever decided to add it to the format.

jchief 07-28-2011 09:31 AM

The idea is to promote catch and RELEASE. If the fish cannot be released, then what is the point?

This is a benefit tourney. If you don't like it, well you know what you can do.

Were not going to be that critical on the fish...if it moves and can swim in our tank...

BossHog 07-28-2011 09:49 AM

I'm just trying to help yall get your rules straight.

mikedatiger 07-28-2011 10:08 AM

Guys - the determination on the fish will be 100% up to the weighmaster. No if's and's or but's. If you don't like it then don't fish it. But if you do have concerns, take them up with Speckdaddy.

THIS IS A CHARITY TOURNAMENT and yes, money is on the line however top priority is to raise money for St. Jude's.

Should we print out anything to prove we paid online or will y'all have a list made up? How will you prove who we are?

specktator 07-28-2011 02:59 PM

I just paid 3 entries and bought a tourney shirt. Like Dink said, do u want the name of the entrants?

meaux fishing 07-28-2011 03:09 PM

Yes I did

Who ever the winner is of the youth division will have to get with me after the tournament to get the proper paper work filled out and I will give them the check to send in for the license.

Unless someone knows another way to work it.

I had the same thought also.....i just did some more reading. I can print the form out and bring it to the tournament and I can sign as the applicant since it is a gift.

But if the parent wants to throw in another $100, then the youth winner can get a combo....hunting and fishing.:D

Exactly Jude. We will have door prizes + raffle prizes + silent auction, on top of the tourney cash prize and live trout weigh in prize. tickets will be $5 for the raffle.

Raffle prizes include rod/reel combos, rods, tackle, tackle bags, coolers, etc...

BIGJ 07-29-2011 12:46 PM

Do you have to fish the tourny to get in the raffles?
I plan on being there but was not going to fish it. If you have to be entered in the tourny I will just pay entry fee and not fish it. After all its for a great cause!!

No - you don't have to enter the tourney to take part in the raffle/silent auction.

Just received another sponsor - Fisher Collision Center. They have graciously donated 2 receiver hitches for whatever make/model vehicle the winner owns. Thanks a ton Corey!
