No duck reports today? That can't be a good sign.

Driving down I 49 from Monroe right now there only a couple hundred birds in the pond south of Alexandria. Usually this time of year there are couple thousand.

No good reports from gc this week. The birds seem to have left the area. Skipping this weekend getting back after them next weekend though.

Everywhere is poo!!!! I did pass a guy pulling a 4wheeler on a trailer today and he had at least 10 specks hanging from the back of the 4wheeler. This was between Holmwood and Sweetlake.

Scratches for friday and saturday in sweetlake this weekend. Unfortunately it wasnt the bird's fault this time. Not many birds in area. You get maybe 1 or 2 chances and if you dont capitalize on the oppurtunity well thats it.

it has been slow for us south of kaplan since friday....2-3 ducks per hunt. hope this rain coming will stir up the ducks.

They left last week for some reason. I make that drive often. I stopped out there a few weeks back just to look and see the species make up and 99.9% were spoonbills. Never seen that many in one place in my life although I hear there are 13,000 of them sitting on a pond in Crowley right now:)
