AGREED.....Big Lake was tough yesterday
 

Went to West Cove to get out of the wind at daybreak. Caught a trout on the first cast and jinxed us. Caught some small schoolies under the birds on the way out of the cove. Water was beautiful in the back of the cove. Took a break and hit it again at 1:30 once the tides was rollin and we started to catch a few on the reefs on the east bank.Wind got bad again so we decided to pack it up. Overall southeast part of the lake had the best water. Ended up with 13 specks, a sand, and a nice flounder. Caught them on swimbaits and gulp.

Good report, I know what you mean about catching on the first cast. I fished BL for the first time last year and I threw out a tandem rig with a lsu cocahoe and a glow cocahoe and on the first cast with this I caught 2 four pounders. After this I caught 2 trout the rest of the day, talk about a let down.

Hey Jordan, If you had any kind of brain you jack *** you would look at my profile and see I actually work at Academy. If you have a tide guide from last year I wrote the periodical that was attached to the Louisiana section. So it is not something that is self proclaimed.....(if you know what that means) it is actually part of my job so keep your idiotic comments to yourself. You probably just mad that I was off on a Monday throwing trout in the boat while you are sitting a your stupid little desk getting chewed out by you boss for surfing Salty Cajun all day. I guess I would be mad too if I were you. Now how is that for short and sweet.
