Garfish.

Me and my sone went out this morning geared up for some garfishing on the south end of the lake. Went with a box of worms, a few bream poles, and some poles rigged up for the monstas! Started pimping bream from the side of the boat, putting them on the big poles for bait, and throwing them out to maranate!. Beautifull water in Miami rite now!
My buddy caught 2 nice gars and I caught one that went for 4'9" and 35 lbs. I have a video of my podna pulling in his fish and ill have it on you-tube as soon as i figure out out to post videos. |

I never kilt my garfish till I got home.
Leave them alive and the meat last longer in the sun. Just leave them in the bottom of the boat and throw a wet grass sack over them. They stay live till you get home. |
That dude went Tony Saprano on dat garfish! Lol
