Reed and I hit it up this am..........Started off slow, caught one trout on topwater by 8am...
Hit a few reefs ...nothing O YEA....>August (i can fish live bait)....Caught some mullet....went to the channel and every Hackberry guide was on all the holes..........tried a few spots and picked up one trout on live mullet Said hell with this......went back in the lake on a reef and picked up about 3 on topwater lake was glass so we started riding around...I spotted a shrimp about 2damn pounds jump out of the water....When I slowed down I could see shrimp busting all over the place and trout killing em.... Took us about 30 mins to finish off our limit on topwater:smokin: |

Nice catch. Can't wait to get back on the lake. I'm stuck in salt lake city til Sunday. Gonna wax there arses Monday.

We only had 5 boats today at the lodge. Guess there are only 5 holes to fish on the channel fellas.
