I fell in love with a deuce yesterday till I looked at the price 458$$ most were 250. That would be breaking the bank for me anyway. Wright and McGill makes some nice sensitive rods for around 100$

The most sensitive rod I have is a Waterloo Salinity med light extra fast. 165$$

Wright and McGills seem to break easy and warranty is very spotty. Anything Shimano and you can't go wrong. Convergence is $69 and a good rod with lifetime warranty and best part is over the counter warranty. No shipping back or paying repairs. Shimano Crucial is my favorite rod for money, good blanks, split grip and very sensitive. Lifetime warranty is hard to beat..

I have the Blair Wiggins Inshore slam rod from W&M and beat the crap out of it. I've had it doubled over straight up and down over the side of the boat with 30 plus lb jacks and bull reds. Seems built really well to me. I have crucials waterloos castaways falcons I like all of them for different things.

I like my crucial as well.

I was rod shopping yesterday for a corky rod and settled on 7'2" crucial.

yep most of my rods are shimanos for that reason. I really like the compre series. They run about $100. I also have a st croix premier that I really like cost around the same

Railside

Check with you people at Railside cuz them things were high. They had some at 140 but the ones I liked were ridiculous

I really wanted one too. Maybe they tagged them with G loomis tags.

The guys at rail side are proud of their stuff try acadiana outfitters they had some Duce rods In stock last time I was in there

458 does not seem right for a Duce...they are jacking up the price at that place

I paid $153 plus tax at Railside for a 7' MED Duce

It was just one of them that was that high. I was playing with it and it was light as feather and when I found the tag I immediately started looking for a diamond incrusted handle or platinum guides. They had some 6'8 for like 160 but the others I liked were 250plus.
