Can't believe this slipped through the cracks here!

I go to church and, do a men's group with his brother, Joe. He was telling us about it at group last Sunday.

Pretty cool.

Good for him!!

keakar 06-02-2015 10:28 AM

im very happy for him, hopefully this early catch reduces the numbers of people who are bribed with prizes and fooled into supporting an organization that works against the interests of recreational fishermen and science based management of fish populations and creel limits.

if I were the person who caught that same tagged fish last month, I would have pulled the tag out and released it with pride

Duck Butter 06-02-2015 11:27 AM

20% chance of that truck being a lemon

There's an old saying. Your better off keeping your mouth shut and let people think you're a fool than opening it and removing all doubt. Diareah of the mouth is a serious disease.

And no you wouldn't pull the tag out. You would probably drown cause you'd kick yourself so hard You'd fall out of the boat for not being registered.

It's better to be perceived as stupid than to speak and remove all doubt.

he is such a cool-aide drinker that he cant ever fathom anyone having actual principles, or that said principles mean more to them then "stuff" given out by corrupt organizations to bribe people into supporting them.

I guess you think a lot of people on this site are fools then. I'm a biologist and I don't agree with what CCA does. I've done more to CONSERVE THE COAST in southwest Louisiana than CCA has.

Congrats to Ole boy on his catch.

Natural Light Kid 06-02-2015 05:47 PM

That wasn't my point but thanks for your conservation efforts. Seriously.

So what exactly was your point then, because apparently no one got it.

eman 06-02-2015 07:28 PM

Some of us believe in our convictions. Best thing about me catching a cca tagged red would be the video on the cca site of me cutting it in lil pieces after removing it from the fish.

My point was when Keekar makes statement like 20% of all Chevys are lemons, it makes it hard to take him seriously when he's crying for "science based" information. You are right though, I don't agree with what a lot of people say on here but it's a free country. It just humors me when guides feel as though they know what's best for the calcasieau estuary. My experience is that MOST guides want what's best for themselves. I'm not defending CCA by no means but it's like we are reliving the whole DU thing from 10-15 years ago all over again. This uprising against CCA didn't start til the guides weren't catching fish on big lake just like no one had a problem with DU until they had a couple bad years duck hunting. It's like it's got to be somebody's fault. Also, Keekar, can you explain to us what makes CCA "corrupt"?
