I watched the FLW tourny and they were killing em with the bama rig.. I bet that thing would do well in toledo

wtretrievers 02-07-2012 10:48 AM

That rod has to be like a freakin broom handle to chunk that!!!! Could you imagine throwing that all day? Your forearms would look like Popeye! ;)

SaltERedneck 02-07-2012 10:54 AM

I agree Jeff.... why in the hell would anyone wanna chunk that scrap metal all day? you catch a 4lb and it feels like an 8lb with all that extra weight lol.

Salty 02-07-2012 11:03 AM

Is that photoshopped?

it has to be no way would a person in their right mind throw that

I already am catching 2 sacks of Oysters per day with one single 1/8 oz leadhead.
Don't want 16 of them. I will be over my recreational Oyster harvest limit in no time.

Looking closely at how zoomed the photo is and the pole and power lines I would say the boat is on the trailer.

Possibly. Good call.

Ive seen that rig up before. Its the big thing up north where they have deep water and hard bottom. We cant use that stuff around here except maybe offshore. But why. We dont need 100 baits to catch one fish. Almost makes me feel sorry for those guys.
