Got a report yesterday that specks are were caught around "The Cove". That's good news, hope it's true:cool:.

Right here man, I haven't heard anything though. Let me see if any of my buddies been lately.

I didnt hear of anyone catching,but the last time I went the water was clean and salty.

They should be in there with the river low like it is.

Are them bull croakas bighting at the point or the hammock yet. I likes me some bull croakas when dem trout be bighting slow.

Went yesterday afternoon
 

for a couple of hours. Didn't see anyone fishing the cove. Saw a couple of shrimp boats working on the way to Mud Point. Anchored a little ways from the last little island and soaked shrimp for a little while. Water was ok but the wind picked up quite a bit. Only caught a little croaker that my 5-year-old played with in the live well 'till it went belly up!

a buddy of mine went out to eugine island and did pretty good, but thats the closest report ive heard around the bay

I had 24 yesterday,miscounted by one,all around blue point.

I have a buddy that is fishing the reefs today, I'll post if he caught as soon as I find out.

Nice catch. I much rather fish there then treck all the way to the pass.

Dat's right... Tired of making the trip west to Big Lake. Love the lake don't love the construction.

Now that I have a lil bigger boat I'll be spending some time in v.b.

Me and Dink caught a few trout at tee butte this morning. We wasted 2 hours trying to get live bait at the weirs,and ended up catching on plastic....go firgure. All we caught on live bait was sharks. Water was stained,but green untill the front came and killed the bite. Its just starting to get right out there.(untill the river water comes into the area)
