My baby maker will be put out of commission tomorrow around 4 or so. Any of you guys had did this done? whats the worst part about it?

My dad had it done. He was in a some pretty good pain. Had to keep frozen peas on em!

IT'S a SURGICAL PROCEDURE TO MAKE A MAN STERILE.......they cut a hole on each side your scrotum pull your vas deferens tube through it, cut the tubes and cauterize them then sew you back up. watch it on you tube.

It's not bad at all. Just do as they say, lay around on the couch, keep frozen peas on em', and don't walk alot. Not painful and just not as bad as it sounds. Just the thought is what makes you SCARED. :smokin:

Yep they say it can be reversed but damn! Had mine done 7 yrs ago, wasn't a big deal and only have one side effect from it.:shaking:

Had it done, no pain/no swelling...minimum discomfort...that's all

I had mine done 13 years ago. I did it during football season. Sat in the lazy boy with frozen peas watching all the games on Saturday and Sunday and had no swelling or pain at all. As far as the procedure goes it is nothing. If I would have known it was that simple I would have had it done when I was 18 lol. Heck he was done with one side before I even knew what was happening. Don't sweat it, its a piece of cake. Oh yea I forgot you have to play the sympathy card on your wife with the swelling and frozen peas, its amazing how willing they are to help lol.

When I worked as a process operator many years ago, my boss had the vas @ 3:00pm and then came out to work the 'graveyard' shift against doctors orders.(He had 12 year perfect attendence and didn't was to mess up). He left the plant later that night in an ambulance with a pair of grapefruits... Just follow doctor's orders..

had mine 12 years ago, did it on a thursday and was fishing in grand isle on saturday. no problem

Not a big deal. The frozen peas work great. The drugs are almost worth doing it. My wife wanted to take me shopping and wheel me around while she bought out the mall. I was so buzzed that I almost let her. I was completely fine the next day.

After all, he is the famous - GOLDENROD!!!!!! LOL - couldn't pass that one up Paul!

the only pain i had was when the nurse shaved my nut sack, then put that red iodine stuff on my sack. i thought i was gonna go flying offa that table!

post-op, very little pain.

Had mine 5 years ago. Everything was cool, till they strapped me down still awake, and two Playboy centerfold nurses came in to start the work. WOW, was that stressful!!!!

Had mine on a Friday morning, then shot the Lafayette Oilman's Clay shoot the next afternoon, but I was moving very slowly. My team helped make sure that I didn't do too much and the wife was watching every move. Laid up on Sunday, and back to work on Monday. Wasn't bad at all.

Ya'll go through childbirth then talk about pain :D...It's actually a lot easier and a lot less painful for a man to have a vasectomy than a woman having her stuff removed...I applaude you for doing that for your wife so she doesn't have to go through what the women have to deal with...:cheers:
