Depends on how you get along. I never knew my MIL. I knew my father in law. He could have moved in anytime, but I know he wouldn't have wanted to. My mother stayed with us right after we were married (due to illness). My wife and her got along fine. It depends on your situation. Like someone said though, could be a good excuse while your hunting and fishing.

hey don't know your situation but if it is because of illness. sometimes you just have to man up. sucks but just think you may be there one day...........now on the flip side if this is just because of a bs reason. i would have to just help pay for an apartment or something. cause it definately would be money well spent to keep her out of your hair

no illness just tired of her job.she lives at her job.she runs a storage facility.that means we will be supporting her will she snoops around our house while we are at work.
