winds will be blowing don't know where you would want to go. water is horrible in big lake. i was just giving you a hard time. we can wait till it gets better weather. considering i have never paddled a kayak before i probly would be fighting paddling more than fishing

Glad the fishing in Dularge and the rigs off VB and Freshwater City is about to get good. I am scared to venture to BL.....matter of fact I will not even go to the SC tourney next year......LOL...

I heard that it was only if he caught you on the water, so you should be fine to come to the SC tourney. Bc we all know who's boat wasn't in the water for this years one.

Just do the same thing you did this year, but avoid the dinner the night before and the weigh in and you should be fine.

better check the fishing closures in dularge before you go, we were supposed to go tomorrow,but the island and rigs are off limits right now. Course the wind is horrible today,so I dont think i would have gone anyway.

BOTB, I attended more for the purpose of supporting the cause (paid entry fee) since my son has special needs (CRI-DU-CHAT). I always try to contribute to these type of events!!!! BTW, knew it would be too windy and too drunk to fish!:D POX had to twist my arm to go out on FRI due to it being very windy.....

yeah, I was sooo pumped about getting on some trout this week, they smoked em at the island last week. thought about just going to the bay tom. but you would have to have a catamaran just to cross the bay in this wind.

I would assume the rigs out of the pass (VB) should be turning on very soon...

prolly,if the wind would ever die down to fish em. I heard someone did pretty good at eugen Island last week.

Never ran out to Eugene. I usually fish Tiger Shoal area and towards Freshwater City rigs!

If Im planning on hitting eugen island, I usually dock at burns point.

I fished the causeway bridge on lake P Tuesday, Caught 40 fish, mix between some nice croakers and reds and a couple black drum. Unfortunately didn't catch any trout.

Not fishing but we're having a guys only weekend at the camp in Mississippi....Is it a coincidence that Woodville is only 30 minutes from the camp.....I think not :D

The water in Big lake? i havent been in 3 weeks and i heard people where killing the crabs out there. and some said the reds where starting to turn on

ill be down there near fourchon and goden meadow. might do some wade fishing at elmers tomorrow night.
