Best bang for your buck open face reel

I don't know if this is the right place for this, if not sorry... But, I was wondering what y'all though was the best open face reel for the money was? Thanks!

Symetre or stradic. .......if your really on a budget get the Sienna.

ive heard em called open face before... but i dont call any reel an open face so im completely lost:help:

Open face is spinning........curado is baitcast

I have always called bait casting reels open faced reels.

x2 on the Stradic, I had one on my BillyStix and man that was an awesome combination...:cry:

OPEN FACE IS A BAITCASTER.

If he'd have wanted a spinning reel, he'd say a SPINCAST, or SPINNER....

this could be a good arguement.... i call bream, perch... some call them bluegill, some call them perch, i call a baitcaster a baitcaster (curado 200e7)... i call an open face what it is... open faced reel a.k.a spinning reel... sorry for the mis-communication and arguements... thats all im good for these days !!!!!

I call any bait caster a open face.....if you want a spinning reel say spinning reel

Used green curado super free, Lake Charles Tackle has for >100 all the time.

Id stay away from that combo........The wind tends to collect under it .....

Apparently everyone is right..............Looks like anything that is NOT a zebco can be called "open faced"..........who'da thunk it.........

Best bang for your buck is a h20 express reel from academey.....next best would be a curado 200 e7

i bought ome og the h20 for around 50 bucks and that thing is sweet for the money. I just use mine for freshwater tho

i agree ..they are smooth for 50 bucks

Pfleuger trion...99 bucks great reel used it for a few years till I got speckdaddys curados

I use the Citica 200D and the Curado CU200 with the ceramic bearing upgrade. Got em on ebay for under 90 bucks a piece.

Curado. Guided for years on Calcasieu, fishing 100 days a year and still have them. They have changed the reel, but still think it is the best bang. NOTE: annual maintenance on any reel will help tremendously.

Annual maint. on a Curado is $20 at Reelman's place.
Not a bad price.
Just keep them wiped down with some Simple Green and water and let him do the
reel work during the winter.
I thought the price of a Curado was a little high, but they outlast a lot of other
reels I have used. Tough little reels, last a long time.

spinning = Sahara, Symetre. In other words...haybalers.
spincast = Zebco 808, 404, 202. In other words...piece o' crap.

Wise move. You can get them on EBAY.....NIB for right at $ 150.......

There are a couple of guys on SC that might be able to get you one for $155. New.
