Custom made Gravois hull. 800 gallons of fuel and they expect it to top out between 75-80mph. It is a prototype for the homeland security out of Grand Isle.

Got that sucker in an email...wow.
|
I wonder how long that thing is?????? Has to be over 30 plus feet with 4 Mercs hanging off the back of it...
|
I don't it will be passing up many fuel docks
|
Going that fast......I would think the edges on the T-top should be more rounded to cut down on drag.
Is that some kind of "cut out" on the hull above the tires? The seats look like something you would see in a airplane. |

What exactly do the notches on the bottom of the hull do? I saw this on another boat the other day. I'm sure it's a performance issue, but what excactly? anyone know?

Cut out above the tires is a rescue door.

Hey guys here are a few more pics of this boat while running.
Also, this was included in the email by Chris Allard with Metal Shark Boats.. "Guys, Here are some shots from today. She is without question the best running V hull I have ever driven. She turns awesome and every wave seems to melt. The only boat that compares is the 38 ZRC Donzi." |
I wanna drive it JUST ONE TIME!:grinpimp:
