cmdrost 07-07-2010 10:52 AM

good bunch of guys.....you'll enjoy it!

Gilbert 07-07-2010 11:18 AM

whens the best time to fish over yonder?

Ray 07-07-2010 07:09 PM

Spring and Fall for big'uns.
Right now you can catch lots of fish, all sizes if the weather and water is good.

HR&G is good people, in my opinion. I met the owners and some guides at the Houston Boat Show and the Houston Fishing Show. They gave me and a couple other guys some free samples of the soft plastics they use.
No other guide service did that.
And I never had any issues with their guide service on the water, unlike some of the other ones.

Hey talk to BoatDriver here, I'm sure he has a story or 2 for while fishing. I think he guides for them.

Yes, we have met. All good now. That day, not so good. Yes, I do guide for Rod and Gun. Ray, I may have met you at the show and not known it. We are catching fish right now. And thanks for the compliments about our lodge. We try to give a total experience, not just to catch fish. Any questions Gilbert, PM me.

Water is so high right now, you CANNOT get stuck unless you are on the marsh.

Reel Bender 07-08-2010 04:32 PM

I need a fishing trip.

You set the date hire the guide, then I'll come potlick ya'll.

Gilbert 07-08-2010 04:33 PM

I'll hire a guide for one day and potlick his spots the next two :D

boatdriver 07-09-2010 09:02 PM

One of those guys...

Well, I'll take you to the "good" spots. We'll drift over mud all day, and I mean all day. I can grind it out till 2 in the afternoon. That way, you can go right back to what you GPSd and do it all over again and catch nothing. Sounds good to me!!! Looking forward to fishing with you. You?
