B-Stealth 07-07-2010 09:31 PM

Wow, the transom design reminds me of a Yellowfin, but so does the price. Thats big ballin for a bay boat 70 g's

Dink 07-07-2010 10:47 PM

The off colored center console very different.

Gerald 07-07-2010 10:59 PM

Is that plastic rod holders??????

Or painted stainless?

speck-chaser 07-07-2010 11:06 PM

I believe it might be plastic, that would have to be changed to stainless if your paying that much.

Dink 07-07-2010 11:13 PM

There was a similar discusion a while back.........don't remember the manufacturer tho........maybe blackjack?? It too had the odd colored console. For 70k I want gold rodholders

speck-chaser 07-07-2010 11:14 PM

I think it was this same boat

Ray 07-08-2010 01:05 AM

Grab rail and leaning post are black also.

LaAngler 07-08-2010 01:09 AM

the pathfinder crowd had been yelling for a yellowfin style boat

not sure if they got it right b/c MBC boats doesn't like to rate boats higher than 250 hp and they don't like to use a pad hull either.

Ray 07-08-2010 01:12 AM

Steering wheel is even black. That would be kinda hot in the summer.

Tete Dur 07-08-2010 04:05 AM

I wish I had a butt load of cash just burning a hole in my pocket so I could trade my '06 in for one of these new bad boys!!

JDd 07-08-2010 07:18 AM

Not my cup of tea. Kinda fugly.

How does water drain from the middle of the convex deck?

Bow cleat in the way of trolling motor mount.

If you put a cooler in front of the console you won't be able to walk around due to the extra long rodbox.

$70,000 they must be smoking rope at Pathfinder.

longsidelandry 07-08-2010 08:02 AM

Spend all that money and the trailer doesn't even come with a spare tire?? That's a bunch of crap!

Salty 07-08-2010 08:07 AM

I'd much rather have the 1200CC Sea Fox. :)

cmdrost 07-08-2010 08:10 AM

have really always liked the pathfinder brand of boats, but don't understand the high $$ pricing of them. They are no better built than some of the other brands out there that cost 1/2 that.

Also, for that much money, you'd think they'd install nice inconsole rodholders and not that cheap plastic crap!

on the older 2200 models they did, I dont know why they cant do it on these, and make the console the same color, that light beige kinda looks like an afterthought

simplepeddler 07-08-2010 09:36 PM

As long as guys stand in line to buy them.....they will get their price.

Guys coming over from say fishing a freshwater Bass Boat like, Ranger, Bass Cat, Allison are used to paying tons of money for the boats they endorse.

I think the price actually makes the guy MORE comfortable in the decision to buy the boat.

Don't get me wrong that is a damn fine hull, but that's a lot of juice for a boat that will loose 35% of it's value in the first year.

B-Stealth 07-09-2010 06:48 AM

Your right Peddler; "Man that things expensive its gotta be a great boat"
